Mayor Chau is the first Cambodian-American mayor.
I was commissioned to paint the first Cambodian-American mayor portrait. Creating the quintessential image of a public figure is important, as the image is lasting. Custom oil portraits take time and thought. I work closely with clients each step of the way to be sure all details are correct and telling. In this case I sourced the Cambodian-American pin to be added to Mayor Chau’s lapel.
